The short version: your birth date never leaves your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. BornPress has no accounts, no forms that submit anywhere, no analytics and no advertising. The date you enter is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server of ours — we don't have one.

External requests

To show the events of your day, your browser calls the publicWikimedia API directly, requesting the day and month (never the year, never who you are). That request is governed by theWikimedia Foundation privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service, as any web host does.

Sharing links

If you copy a share link, the date you generated is part of the URL (for example?d=1990-06-16). Share it only if you're comfortable with the recipient seeing that date.
